February was a big month for gaming. We saw a brand new system launch in way of the Playstation Vita, which in turn produced a lot of great launch titles. Not only that, we even saw a couple of worthwhile games for the Wii!
?
Wii Game of the Month:
Rhythm Heaven Fever (Review)

Runner-Up: PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond (Review)
Shockingly, the Wii actually had some games this month. While none of them were mind-blowing, they were good enough and should easily keep some starved Wii owners entertained.
3DS/ DS?Game of the Month:
Resident Evil: Revelations (Review)

Runner-Up: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor (Review)
Capcom?s second Resident Evil game on the 3DS (anyone remember Resident Evil: The Mercenaries) managed to fight off the latest game in the Shin Megami series to capture our Game of the Month. Look for Revelations to compete in our 3DS Game of the Year category at the end of the year.
Playstation Vita Game of the Month:
Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack (Review)

Runners-Up: Uncharted: Golden Abyss (Review), Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition (Review)
We were more than prepared to hand this award over to Uncharted: Golden Abyss, but Tales From Space came out of nowhere and managed to steal the award away. For an $8 PSN title, you cannot go wrong with Mutant Blobs Attack.
Playstation 3 Game of the Month:
Jak and Daxter Collection (Review)

Runners-Up: Twisted Metal (Review), Hyperdimension Neptunia?mK2 (Review)
If Twisted Metal had improved multiplayer, or if Hyperdimension mK2 appealed to a broader audience, they may have won. Sadly they didn?t, and the Jak and Daxter Collection took home our award this month.
Multiplatform Game of the Month:
SSX (Review)

Runners-Up: The Darkness 2 (Review), Asura?s Wrath (Review), Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (Review)
Even though SSX didn?t include any true multiplayer, it still deserves the Game of the Month award for the?being such a perfect single player snowboarding game.
PSN/XBLA Game of the Month:
Shank 2 (Review)

Runner-Up: Alan Wake?s American Nightmare
Shank 2 really showed how great a sequel can be if it is done right. It fixed everything wrong with the original game and the developers created a really fun experience.
Worst Game of the Month:
Ben 10 Galactic Racing (Review)

Runners-Up: Little Deviants (Review), Modnation Racers: Road Trip (Review)
Every system launch has games that you need to avoid and Ben 10 Galactic Racing is one of those games.
February 2012 Game of the Month:
Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack

Runners-Up: SSX, Shank 2
